This has been a great PC and with the upgrades I've done....it runs like a low end i5. Does anyone know if I am going to have to use a workaround again? Years ago, I did upgrade the CPU from a C2D to a Core2Quad Q6600 2.4GHz (quad core). Dell Xps 410 Upgrades Not sure on the XPS line but I think you may be OK. But having said that, I think you still make a good point....not to mention the fact that I've upgraded the sh** out of my XPS 410. My fanless Core M gets 111/230 in R15.

In my previous clean installs, I've been forced to reinstall the OS in ATA/Auto Detect mode and then use a workaround. Dell Xps 410 Cpu Upgrade Hopefully, as you say, it will just work! And since it's always been the Dell recommended setting, I never really wanted to change it no matter what type of storage I've had on this system.
Missed the part about Windows 7. BSOD when trying to updae Win10 build 9879 in BSOD Crashes and Debugging I have been on Win 10 as soon as it became available as Tech Preview. Dit kan uw computer beschadigen. Dell Xps 410 Graphics Card Anyone out there to help me?
